Case No. SC11-1350.Supreme Court of Florida.
September 21, 2011.
Lower Tribunal No(s). CR01-4140-A.
To the extent petitioner seeks a writ of habeas corpus in challenging his criminal conviction, the Court has determined that relief is not authorized and this case is hereby dismissed.See Baker v. State, 878 So. 2d 1236 (Fla. 2004).
To the extent petitioner seeks to invoke the Court’s all writs jurisdiction, the petition is hereby dismissed for lack of jurisdiction because the petitioner has failed to cite an independent basis that would allow the Court to exercise its all writs authority and no such basis is apparent on the face of the petition. Williams v. State, 913 So. 2d 541 (Fla. 2005) andSt. Paul Title Ins. Corp. v. Davis, 392 So. 2d 1304 (Fla. 1980).
Any motions or other requests for relief are also denied.
